PHA: Turning an old bank into affordable PH housing
Next Wednesday, September 11th, don't miss Passive House Accelerator, Juhee Lee-Hartford, and Josh Edmonds from Simple Integrity, discussing The Bank Lofts on the latest Passive House Accelerator LIVE.
This mixed-use renovation, rehabilitation, and repurposing of a three-story, circa-1882 building that served as the home of the First National Bank of Richfield Springs, New York, for more than seven decades, and will now provide multiple apartments and commercial space.
From Passive House Accelerator: "Join architect Juhee Lee-Hartford (River Architects) and builder Josh Edmond (Simple Integrity) as they share how they retrofitted a historic bank building in Upstate New York into Passive House housing and created a new community hub for the small town of Richfield Springs. Threading the needle between historic preservation mandates and transformative energy performance has been no small task. Juhee and Josh will share key lessons learned on this NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence award-winning project.
This free presentation will take place on Wednesday, September 11th at 9am PT / 12pm ET and will be followed by a lively Q+A session. Don't miss this opportunity to engage with the PHA community. Register today!"
